One of these ideas is card selection. Each Bingo card has 24 numbers and 25 squares. There is one square without a number which is the center box. This will also make it easier for you to keep track of the numbers on your cards since each of the numbers that are called will not have any more than one slot on your card.

Lucky Numbers
The other thing you want to avoid is getting a card which has alleged lucky numbers. There is no such thing. And this is a very important fact to remember. If someone tells you that a card with a 7 or 11 will be lucky as those are lucky numbers you have to ignore them. Its complete nonsense and just a bad way of tricking you in to ultimately losing. It is not a strategy.

Symmetrical Cards
There is another idea of how to win at Bingo based on what cards you choose. Some believe you shouldnt choose cards which have numbers with bad symmetry (numbers spread out all over the place without any pattern for example). You might see this on a card that has a whole lot of low numbers grouped together in each column. Instead what you want to look for is a card which has numbers spread out with a random distribution, pretty much like what you would see in a typical Bingo machine.

Ultimately though, what you have to remember is that you have as much or as little chance of winning Bingo with any card since symmetry etc. has no real bearing on your likelihood of winning or losing. Even a card with a lot of low numbers all in order will provide you with the same winning/losing opportunities. You have to realize that Bingo is a game of chance; a gamble and the whole point and fun of the game is exactly that to take a chance and have fun with it, rather than trying to rely on complicated mathematical calculations or symmetry.
