.: 7 Card Stud Video Poker Review
An interesting twist on video poker is this 7 card stud machine. Just as you would expect, 7 cards
are laid face down. You make an initial bet to see the first two. Then, successive bets are made uncovering
one more card at a time. A hard game to win relying purely on luck, but something different for those tired of the
same old standard video poker.
You can risk from 1 to 5 coins at each stopping point. This means you can risk up to 20 coins
per hand. Remember that when deciding the coin denomination. Err on the side of caution - it's always
better to win a little less and not overexpose yourself to the risk. Waiting on a draw can be devastating
because they dont hit as frequently as you might expect.
Overall, the odds on this game aren't the best. You see fewer cards because you cannot discard and
redraw cards you dislike. On the flip side, you get to keep all 7 cards, so you never discard a potential
winning hand. The final hand simply grabs any 5 cards to make the best poker hand possible.
