.: Aces and Eights Video Poker Review
Aces and eights is a standard video poker game played with a 52 card deck and nothing wild.
However, it offers enhanced payouts on a four of a kind - consisting of either aces or
eights - hence the name of the game. You'll find the paytable readjusted to make
up for the extra pay, but since it is a very specific bonus, the change is minor when
compared to jacks or better.
Aces and Eights allows you to wager from 1 to 5 coins, with the only advantage coming
if you hit a royal flush. It is always recommended you play maximum coins, however, if
you are on a budget, play a lower denomination. Typically, coin values start at 5 cents
and go up to a dollar or higher.
